OH to VA back to OH
I wonder how it has been possible for them to survive without an iPod...

Actually, I think how blissful that would be for them.

Perambulating in St James' Park
So if they haven't been contacted how do they know about them? If someone observed them how do they know they haven't been contacted?

I'm glad to read that they have a protectorate in the government(s) there.

The very one.........
Read the article, Peru was the debunker, now they have been debunked.

"Three large clearings in the area had been identified by satellite, but the population's existence was only verified after airplane expeditions in April gathered more data, the National Indian Foundation said in a news release Monday."

Look at this tribe that was just discovered. They can be found near the
coast. Anyone care to get an expedition with me for a trip to study
them closer in their native habitat?

Well pedro and Comet, you were right to be suspicious! As I have come bearing an update.

http://www.guardian.co.uk/world/2008/jun/2...;feed=worldnews

Tribal guardian admits the Amazon Indians' existence was already known, but he hoped the publicity would lift the threat of logging.

They are the amazing pictures that were beamed around the globe: a handful of warriors from an 'undiscovered tribe' in the rainforest on the Brazilian-Peruvian border brandishing bows and arrows at the aircraft that photographed them.

Or so the story was told and sold. But it has now emerged that, far from being unknown, the tribe's existence has been noted since 1910 and the mission to photograph them was undertaken in order to prove that 'uncontacted' tribes still existed in an area endangered by the menace of the logging industry.

your link from 2008 is broken, this is news from this month, 2011. Note the satellite confirmation date of April:

It's ok to be wrong. Buck up. Just because the 50 search links I saw that refute your one link from three years ago...:)
