As far as the mind can reach
In a few webnovels and one printed short story named 西洋 (The Occidental) by Liu Cixin (刘慈欣), the territories of China and USA are under ethnic Chinese.
For the webnovels, colonists from the rejuvenated Han Dynasty colonized North America and called the Native Americans 殷地安人 (the interpretation would be "People of the Shang land"); essentially, they tried to make the Native Americans believing that they are ethnically related to the Han people.
Would we be typing Chinese rather than English today?
How may the culture be different?
