which would it be and why?

I would have liked to been a part of the American Revolution. Not because it gives me a chance to kill "red coats" but because I love my country's history, and what better war to fight in than the one that made us our own country.

I would like to fight on the side of Alexander the Great. I would probably feel the safest under his command.

Not sure, but the Revolution is probably the best and most significant cause I can think of. I do take great pride in knowing my ancestors were involved. But being the Anglophile that I am, I'd probably like to have fought in some English war, perhaps the English Civil War. I like Cromwell a lot. But that's for another thread some day. There's some appeal to me in lost causes as well, I would have liked to have witnessed the Sedgemoor Campaign.

Do my fighting in Comata Gaul in the smoky halls of the Celtic chieftains. Maybe fight over meat or wine, start arguing and then turn to sword play. It's all about honor.

I would have fought in World War II for the Americans. I dunno why, but WWII just fascinates me. I would have loved to have been Hitler's psychiatrist... I've been trying to figure the man out. He's more than just a psycho dictator.

Heh. I see that you don't see it. He's quite helpless, really. I don't sympathize with him; he's a bastard and that's what he is. But it's amazing to see how each event led to him taking over most of Europe. He's a genius, a fighter, and most of all, a victim himself. Unfortunately, he did not become a Booker T. Washington or anything productive like that. He became Hitler, a major cause of WWII.

The Korean War might have been interesting, though Hellishly cold. I'd say WWII and join the RAF in an instant if they'd give me a Spitfire

Fighting against Caesar's infantry in Britain would have been fun, easy, and relatively safe. Either mounted on a horse or chariot, ambushing patrols and reaving heads, while at that point Caesar had no cavalry on the island to repell the enemies with. I'd have lined my round, British, hut with the heads of dead Romans.

Genius? Are you kidding? Say anything, but don't call him a genius. The war was fine for him when his generals commanded; it all went under as soon as he stepped up.

NEVADA, UNITED STAES OF AMERICA
*Glances about.*

The American Civil War- DEFEND THE RIGHT! HUZZAH! As a damnyankee in the Second US Regulars, Company "C".

And the little war between Californians and Nevadans in this area over land. Of course, there would be some things I'd do differently than the Nevadan commanders.... "Nevada- if it's deadly, you can find it here."
