I don't think the biblical figures were, but the writers of the bible books were on a mixture of crack, heroine, lsd, alcohol and 20 other kinds of drugs.

I have read similar claims. It does seem logical that Jesus' annointing oil would contain some sort of mind and mood altering substance.
