What history books have you bought lately?

Took a bunch of books on New France out of the university library. I know I shouldn't when soon enough I might be forced to read history books that I don't find history but I can't help myself when I saw good looking books that you "borrow" for free! Ah the library!

I've been a book sabbatical, not by choice. I just don't have time to read

"The Penguin History of the Second World War" by Peter Calvocoressi, Guy Wint and John Pritchard It's the 2nd edition of the original 1972 classic...updated with the Enigma material that was released by 1988.
